Hi, I'm TUG
Late-diagnosed AuDHD, creator of The NeuroWired, lifelong learner, and recovering shape-shifter. After spending decades trying to fit into spaces that never quite fit me, I'm learning what life looks like when I stop masking and start trusting who I am.

🧠 The Diagnosis

In 2026, I received a late Autism diagnosis, and with it came something I had been searching for my entire life: understanding.

For years, I struggled to make sense of experiences that seemed invisible to everyone else. I often felt out of sync with the world around me, wondering why everyday things felt so overwhelming, why I seemed to think differently, feel more deeply, and navigate life through a completely different lens.

As I began learning more about Autism, pieces of my life started falling into place. Combined with ADHD, C-PTSD, Fibromyalgia, and Anxiety, I finally had a framework that helped explain how my mind and body work togetherβ€”and sometimes work against each other.

πŸ’œ Why social situations could leave me exhausted.

🧠 Why my mind could hyperfocus on one thing while struggling to start another.

🌿 Why sensory overload, burnout, and overwhelm felt so intense.

✨ Why I spent years studying people, trying to understand the rules everyone else seemed to know naturally.

🎭 Why masking became a survival skill.

The diagnosis didn't change who I was.

It didn't create something new.

Instead, it gave me language for experiences I had carried my entire life and permission to stop viewing myself through the lens of what was "wrong" with me.

For the first time, I wasn't looking at a list of flaws to fix.

πŸ—ΊοΈ I was looking at a map.

A map that helped me understand my strengths, my challenges, my patterns, my passions, and the person I had been all along.

The diagnosis wasn't the end of my story.

✨ It was the beginning of The NeuroWired Awakening.

🎭 The Unmasking

For most of my life, I adapted to everyone around me. I became a chameleon, shifting, changing, and molding myself into whoever I needed to be to survive, belong, avoid conflict, and gain acceptance. Somewhere along the way, I became so skilled at masking that I lost sight of where the mask ended and where I began.

πŸ’œ I was the caregiver.

πŸ’œ The peacemaker.

πŸ’œ The strong one.

πŸ’œ The overthinker.

πŸ’œ The people-pleaser.

πŸ’œ The woman trying to fit into spaces that never truly fit her.

After receiving my late Autism diagnosis, many pieces of my life finally started making sense. Combined with ADHD, C-PTSD, Fibromyalgia, and Anxiety, I began to understand why I experienced the world so differently and why simply existing often felt more exhausting than it seemed to be for everyone else.

🧠 Today, my journey is no longer about fitting in.

✨ It's about unmasking.

🌱 Learning who I am beneath the expectations.

🎨 Reconnecting with my creativity.

πŸ¦„ Embracing my quirks, passions, and endless curiosity.

πŸ’¬ Finding my authentic voice.

πŸ’œ Trusting myself.

The NeuroWired Awakening is my journey of peeling back the layers, reclaiming my identity, and building a life that honors the way I'm naturally wired.

I'm not becoming someone new.

I'm finally becoming myself.
