This is not medical advice and I am not a doctor. Just sharing information from my personal experience.
A: ROI Plastic Surgery in Seoul, Korea with Dr. You. He is the only surgeon at the clinic, speaks English, and there are translators on staff.
A: I had under eye fat repositioning and fat grafting. The total cost was approximately 2 million KRW. I did not do a full lower blepharoplasty and the cost for that is different. Dr You also did my endoscopic forehead lift and non incisional double eyelid surgery.
A: Yes-You can receive special pricing if you use my name (Sara Yoon) as a referral.
A: If a full lower blepharoplasty (skin cut) is needed, the price will differ. It’s best to confirm with the clinic directly during consultation. In this case, there will be external stitches beneath the lower lash line and they will need to be removed around day 7 post op. This is usually recommended when there is excess skin/sagginess/wrinkles in the undereye area.
A: I’ve shared more details and updates on my Instagram highlights @madeinkorea_____
A: Yes. Aside from upper and lower eye surgeries (upper/lower blepharoplasty, double eyelid surgery, ptosis repair), he also does forehead lifts (I did mine with him this year), full deep plane face lifts, mini lifts, chin/neck lifts.
A: The closest subway station is Sinsa Station.
A: Yes, ROI Plastic Surgery has translators available and Dr You speaks English.
A: The under-eye (eyebag)/fat repositioning surgery is performed under sleep sedation.
A: If you’re doing just under-eye fat rearranging, you can manage with about 5 days in Korea. However, if you’re having a full lower blepharoplasty (skin cut), you’ll need at least 9 days in Korea since stitches are usually removed around day 7.
• Deposit: Required to book surgery; PayPal accepted. • Consultation fee if you consult but do not proceed with surgery.
Best to wear/bring button up or zip up tops if doing facial surgeries. Sunglasses, masks can be helpful too :)
The Operating room is usually cold. Before they sedate you, you will get strapped into the table for safety purposes and a lot of iodine solution is used on your body for disinfecting purposes. I’m just mentioning this part because it can be jarring for someone’s first experience ><
