Nyx is one of 99 siblings born to Lucifer and Lilith. She was charged with ushering in the End Times, duty-bound between Heaven and Hell, but got distracted by side quests and snacks. Despite being the favorite child, she is the most irresponsible one.
Each time Nyx is assigned a catastrophic event or mortal “adjustment” something goes wrong.
Her biggest fuck up to date was the plagues described in the Book of Exodus. Instead of summoning a plague of locusts to consume the crops, she summoned a plague of cats. Hearing about this, God sent another angel of destruction to assist Moses and finish the job. As a punishment, Lucifer made Nyx responsible for the hundreds of cats she manifested. Thus, they became her spies and the Universal Cat Distribution System began.
She’s an accident prone, adorable gremlin with a terrifying demonic side. A fallen angel hiding from her parents and ignoring the family group chat. Instead of commanding legions of angels, she commands a Discord server full of Marbles and gambling addicts.Too weird to rule Hell; Too hungry to destroy Earth. The apocalypse is temporarily on hold.
The Task: Erasing a small nation from history books.
The Accident: Nyx used a celestial "white-out" pen that was actually a "Highlight" pen.
The Result: For 24 hours, every person in a small town in Ohio suddenly became incapable of whispering. Everyone had to shout their secrets, leading to a record-breaking number of breakups and a very loud library.
The Task: Breaking the final seal to trigger the apocalypse.
The Accident: Nyx tried to pry the seal open with a butter knife because she lost the divine key.
The Result: Instead of fire and brimstone, she triggered a "Temporal Hiccup." For three hours, time moved backward every time someone in the world sneezed. It took people five tries to finish a single sandwich.
The Task: Turning the beasts of the field into a terrifying army of monsters.
The Accident: Nyx held the ritual dagger upside down.
The Result: All the squirrels in London gained the intelligence of nuclear physicists, but they still had the attention spans of squirrels. They solved cold fusion but immediately forgot the formula because they saw a particularly shiny acorn.
The Task: To confuse the tongues of men so they could no longer plot against Satan.
The Accident: Nyx spilled an energy drink on the "Universal Language Tablet."
The Result: For one hour, the only language anyone could speak was "Interpretive Jazz Hands." Global diplomacy ground to a halt as world leaders tried to discuss trade tariffs through frantic finger-snapping and jazz squares.
The Task: Bringing statues to life to serve as gargoyle guards.
The Accident: The spell bounced off a satellite dish and hit a suburban mall.
The Result: Every smart-fridge and toaster in the tri-state area gained a soul. They didn't attack; they just became extremely judgmental about people's diet choices, loudly shaming owners for eating shredded cheese at 3 AM.
The Task: Make the stars fall from the sky.
The Accident: Nyx sneezed while aiming.
The Result: Every constellation rearranged itself into embarrassing stick-figure drawings of Lucifer. Astronomers have been trying to decode "The Celestial Butt" for centuries.
The Task: Summon Leviathan.
The Accident: Nyx pronounced the name wrong.
The Result: She summoned one extremely needy and judgemental baby dragon. It follows her everywhere and sighs whenever she makes another mistake. Nyx named it “Max.”
The Task: Cover the Earth in ash.
The Accident: Nyx used the brimstone to toast her marshmallows and some dripped down into the flames.
The Result: The sky rained a very fine glitter. San Francisco is still cleaning it up to this day and mortals randomly find it under their couch cushions.
The Task: Rain Fire on Earth
The Accident: Nyx forgot to eat dinner that day and became distracted while scrolling DoorDash.
The Result: Warm garlic bread fell from the sky. Scientists still can’t explain it. Keto became obsolete for the day. Italy held a celebration.
The Task: Release the Four Horsemen
The Accident: Nyx tried summoning them in Japanese instead of Latin.
The Result: Mortals were cursed with mild inconveniences, seasonal allergies, low phone batteries, and slightly damp socks. Hell ordered commemorative merchandise.
