Studio Kentaro Nakamura is a design studio based in Kyoto, Japan. We work on everything from books to websites, with a focus on typography.
1990年福井県生まれ。2013年に京都造形芸術大学情報デザイン学科を卒業後、京都にてフリーランス。大学ではタイポグラフィを専攻。京阪神の芸術・文化施設の広報物や書籍のデザインを中心に取り組む。タイポグラフィや本のつくりを通して内容を隠喩し、読む人と見る人に内容の新しい解釈が生み出されることを目指している。
Born in Fukui, Japan in 1990, he graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design, Department of Information Design in 2013, and has been freelancing in Kyoto since then. He majored in typography at university. He mainly works on publicity materials and book design for art and cultural facilities. Through typography and book design, she aims to create a new interpretation of the content for readers and viewers by using the content as a metaphor.
