KYBY digs into the deeper end of Afro house - extended grooves, spiritual vocals and layered percussion, pulling in afrotech, 3-step and gqom along the way.
His sets favour deep cuts and hidden gems over obvious selections, trained at London Sound Academy and sharpened across London (Notting Hill Arts Club, EGG London, Basing House), Belgium and Kenya.
He also curates I'm Friends With the DJ, a night built on the same ethos as his sets - deep cuts and community over club convention, bringing DJs and audiences together outside the typical dancefloor setting.
